Firstly we analyzed the methods for classification of the emotions and used them on existing dataset. Then, we conducted experiment, in which participants were watching music videos and we used EPOC to capture EEG signal. We tried to classify seven emotions and compare accuracy of our method with existing tool, namely Noldus FaceReader which is able to detect emotions from face expressions.<\/p>\n<p>Ke\u010f\u017ee ide o bakal\u00e1rsky projekt, asi by som mal za\u010da\u0165 t\u00fdm ako som sa dostal k tomuto zadaniu. Ponuka t\u00e9m bola \u0161irok\u00e1 a v\u00e4\u010d\u0161ina z nich ma neoslovila. Zrazu mi v\u0161ak udrel do o\u010d\u00ed\u00a0n\u00e1zov &#8211; Aplik\u00e1cia ovl\u00e1dan\u00e1 mys\u013eou.\u00a0Zadanie t\u00e9my bolo s\u00edce nap\u00edsane v\u0161eobecne, ni\u010d konkr\u00e9tne, ale hne\u010f som vedel, \u017ee toto je cesta. \u00dalohou bolo analyzova\u0165 mo\u017enosti EEG zariadenia Emotiv EPOC\u00a0\u00a0a jeho schopnos\u0165 rozpozn\u00e1va\u0165 odozvy na r\u00f4zne stimuly.\u00a0Napriek tomu, \u017ee\u00a0sa na\u00a0t\u00e9mu hl\u00e1silo viacero\u00a0z\u00e1ujemcov, podarilo sa mi ju z\u00edska\u0165. Bol som nad\u0161en\u00fd. V hlave mi h\u00fdrilo mno\u017estvo n\u00e1padov, o ktor\u00fdch som e\u0161te nevedel\u00a0ako ve\u013emi s\u00fa alebo nie s\u00fa re\u00e1lne.\u00a0S ved\u00facim som sa dohodol, \u017ee si cez leto\u00a0na\u0161tudujem inform\u00e1cie o\u00a0strojovom u\u010den\u00ed, ktor\u00e9 budem pravdepodobne vyu\u017e\u00edva\u0165.<\/p>\n<p>Semester sa za\u010dal. Pri\u0161iel \u010das prv\u00e9ho stretnutia. Na \u0148om\u00a0som zistil, \u017ee v\u0161etky moje n\u00e1pady, akoko\u013evek zneli \u00fa\u017easne (aspo\u0148 v mojej hlave), neboli zameran\u00e9 na v\u00fdskum alebo to EEG zariadenie pravdepodobne nie je dos\u0165 presn\u00e9 na ich realiz\u00e1ciu. Tak som sa teda s ved\u00facim pr\u00e1ce dohodol, \u017ee sa poobzer\u00e1m po nie\u010dom re\u00e1lnej\u0161om a nen\u00e1padne sa ma sna\u017eil postr\u010di\u0165 k UX testovaniu. Tak som h\u013eadal, h\u013eadal a zistil som, \u017ee ve\u013ea sa diskutuje\u00a0o detekcii em\u00f3cii z EEG sign\u00e1lu.<\/p>\n<p>Existuje ve\u013ea r\u00f4znych sp\u00f4sobov, av\u0161ak len m\u00e1lo z nich bolo otestovan\u00fdch spolu so zariaden\u00edm,\u00a0ktor\u00e9 m\u00e1me na \u0161kole. Tak som sa pustil do anal\u00fdzy, sna\u017eil som sa z ka\u017ed\u00e9ho \u010dl\u00e1nku\u00a0z\u00fa\u017eitkova\u0165 to najlep\u0161ie a skon\u0161truova\u0165 pomocou toho vlastn\u00fa met\u00f3du na ur\u010dovanie em\u00f3ci\u00ed z EEG sign\u00e1lu. Cez zdroje zdrojov som sa dostal k r\u00f4znym \u010dl\u00e1nkom minul\u00e9ho storo\u010dia a neraz som sa pristihol \u010d\u00edtaj\u00fac knihu ur\u010den\u00fa pre psychol\u00f3gov nemaj\u00fac ni\u010d spolo\u010dn\u00e9 s informatikou.<\/p>\n<p>Ke\u010f som pozliepal met\u00f3du, potreboval som d\u00e1ta na jej otestovanie. Konkr\u00e9tne som h\u013eadal EEG d\u00e1ta s rovnak\u00e9ho\/podobn\u00e9ho EEG zariadenia ozna\u010dkovan\u00e9 konkr\u00e9tnymi em\u00f3ciami.Tak\u00e9to d\u00e1tov\u00e9 sady sa nev\u00e1\u013eaj\u00fa len tak hocikde, ale po dlh\u0161om h\u013eadan\u00ed som z\u00edskal pr\u00edstup k d\u00e1tovej sade z jednej anglickej univerzity. D\u00e1ta boli z experimentu, kde \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edkom premietali hudobn\u00e9 vide\u00e1 a t\u00ed n\u00e1sledne vyp\u013a\u0148ali dotazn\u00edky o tom, ako sa pri tom c\u00edtili. Neboli tam konkr\u00e9tne em\u00f3cie, ale bolo to lep\u0161ie ako ni\u010d. Navy\u0161e cel\u00e1 d\u00e1tov\u00e1 sada aj experiment boli podrobne zdokumentovan\u00e9. Aj v\u010faka tomu sme sa rozhodli v druhej \u010dasti bakal\u00e1rskeho projektu tento experiment zreplikova\u0165. Navy\u0161e sme nahr\u00e1vali tv\u00e1re \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edkov, aby sme mohli porovna\u0165 na\u0161u met\u00f3du s n\u00e1strojom Noldus FaceReader, ktor\u00fd ur\u010duje em\u00f3cie z v\u00fdrazu tv\u00e1re.<\/p>\n<p>Pri experimente nenastali \u017eiadne ve\u013ek\u00e9 probl\u00e9my ani ne\u010dakan\u00e9 situ\u00e1cie. Av\u0161ak problematick\u00fdm sa uk\u00e1zalo prvotn\u00e9 nastavenie EEG zariadenia a udr\u017eanie kvalitn\u00e9ho sign\u00e1lu zo v\u0161etk\u00fdch elektr\u00f3d. Inak povedan\u00e9, \u010d\u00edm dlh\u0161ie vlasy \u00fa\u010dastn\u00edk mal, t\u00fdm to bolo hor\u0161ie. Ke\u010f\u017ee sme pri experimente pou\u017e\u00edvali tri r\u00f4zne n\u00e1stroje na zaznamen\u00e1vanie d\u00e1t, mali sme ve\u013ea\u00a0d\u00e1tov\u00fdch s\u00faborov, ktor\u00e9 bolo potrebn\u00e9 zosynchronizova\u0165. Po spracovan\u00ed a anal\u00fdze EEG d\u00e1t sme na ne aplikovali na\u0161u met\u00f3du a pok\u00fasili sme sa klasifikova\u0165 t\u00fdchto sedem em\u00f3ci\u00ed &#8211; rados\u0165, strach, hnev, znechutenie, prekvapenie, sm\u00fatok a neutr\u00e1lnu em\u00f3ciu. Nakoniec sme vytvorili aplik\u00e1ciu, v ktorej sme aplikovali na\u0161u met\u00f3du.<\/p>\n<p>Pr\u00e1ca na bakal\u00e1rskom projekte nebola v\u017edy z\u00e1bava, ob\u010das to bolo frustruj\u00face a ve\u013ea kr\u00e1t som mal pocit, \u017ee som sa dostal do slepej uli\u010dky. Bola to v\u0161ak dobr\u00e1 sk\u00fasenos\u0165\u00a0a nau\u010dil som sa ve\u013ea nov\u00fdch vec\u00ed, za \u010do v\u010fa\u010d\u00edm najm\u00e4 m\u00f4jmu ved\u00facemu pr\u00e1ce, Ing.
