Our story
PeWe (Personalized Web) was a research group at the Institute of Informatics, Information Systems and Software Engineering, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies (FIIT STU) established in 1999. The group focus was on web and user data processing towards adaptive and personalized approaches based on text and data analysis and machine learning in various domains including text mining and text processing, recommendation, user feedback analysis. For user implicit feedback we used also various sensors, mainly eyetrackers.
In 2020 several PeWe members became part of Kempelen Institute of Intelligent Technologies, the independent institute focused on researching intelligent technologies and financed by private sector.
