Education

The User Experience and Interaction Research Centre participates on the educational activities of the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies mainly through students utilizing the technologies in their bachelor, master and doctoral theses and other research projects. The research centre:

  • Provides the students access to technologies of eye-tracking, physiological sensors and EEG recording.
  • Provides guidance and consultations for solving final student projects related to UXI research topics, especially regarding analysis of user behaviour, user modelling, adaptation and personalization.
  • Provides methodological consultations and helps with designing user studies for students.
  • Collects, creates and keeps datasets usable in students’ works and trainings.

Apart from giving the students valuable experience of working in the UXI labs, the centre also participates on research projects in the field of technology enhanced learning, which directly contributes to improvements in education.

The students wishing to solve their projects in one of the labs, should consult the access conditions page (in Slovak).
