Turns out it’s finance and there is a whole parallel universe of tech and products being built right now that are redefining how we capture value and utilize trust. Finance is getting open-sourced and the implications are huge.
Earlier this year I wrote a HFT bot for a crypto exchange, got excited about a data-exchange protocol for ML and finally took the leap and co-started a fintech company that aims to build infrastructure for management of digital investment funds.I’ll give a crash course on blockchain and dive right into what financial and governance building blocks are out there today to get you thinking about the products we could build tomorrow. I’ll also mention areas where technical, regulatory or UX gaps give us a bit of time to get in early.
